Questions
Frequently asked questions
Do I need to give my name or contact details to see quotes?
No. Six details suffice: gender, date of birth, your general health, tobacco or nicotine use, how much coverage you want and for how many years. The tool returns rates from these alone. Your name, address and specific health information are gathered only if you opt to apply.
Are the monthly prices shown the price I will pay?
These are the monthly costs each carrier quotes for the health class you chose. The carrier sets your actual premium following underwriting, which may keep, raise or lower your class. This site makes no insurance offer or price guarantee.
What happens when I click Apply?
You provide your name, and the application builds from the exact quote you selected, then moves to the carriers' secure platform. Pause at any time and come back later; sign all documents electronically. Susman Insurance Agency, a licensed California firm (License 0B75129), manages the process.
Will I need a medical exam?
The carrier, coverage amount and your profile determine this. Some carriers make instant decisions for eligible applicants; every quote specifies whether an exam is mandatory, optional or unnecessary.
Is a longer term better?
Pick a term length that covers the years your death would create financial hardship: when you owe a mortgage, have dependents at home or carry business debt. Longer terms have higher monthly costs but lock your rate in for longer. The tool lets you weigh 10, 15, 20, 25 and 30-year options.
Does this site sell my information?
No. The tool doesn't gather contact data, we don't sell or share what visitors do here, and we track visits without cookies. Visit our privacy page for the complete details of what is and isn't collected.
